What is the ID File Editor?

The ID File Editor is an application used to map connector and pin names to a particular address. For example, connector J1-A is linked to address 109 of the Analyzer. The ability to reference the pin is important for two reasons; the programmer ensures the correct pin is called in a test instruction and the user is given the pin name as the failure location. The ID File Editor may ship on the ELITE Application CD or it may be shipped as a separate CD.
