Training

Many of our customers desire to have their local technicians be capable of developing and maintaining their test procedures internally. Eclypse International offers training on all our hardware and software products.

Eclypse takes great pride in its training programs. Starting with a series of Operation and Maintenance courses, designed to get operators up and running as quickly and painlessly as possible, and proceeding into basic and then advanced programming in our core software program ELITE. Courses can be held at an Eclypse facility or another location based on customer selection – training prices are broken down by Out of Area and Eclypse Location pricing.

Eclypse International routinely develops new courses for local use of Eclypse products, and to meet specific needs of our customers. If you have training needs, please contact Eclypse for further information about scheduling training courses.

Training Courses

PL100i/ELM (External Load Module) Programming (ECL-ETF-00003)
Eclypse Facility – 2 Day Course – A comprehensive course on the PL100/PL100i Programmable Load Bank or External Load Module (ELM) that instructs the student on the basic operation and maintenance of the equipment. Providing the training necessary to successfully run a test program set (TPS).
ESP/ESP+ Fault Location Device Operation (ECL-ETF-00005)
Eclypse Facility – 1 Day Course – A course designed to train students on the operation of the ESP/ESP+ Fault Location device.
Test Program Set (TPS) Development II (ECL-ETF-00018)
Eclypse Training Facility – The three (3) day course builds upon the knowledge gained in the Test Program Set (TPS) Development I course. Students will utilize their programming skills to develop programs for circuits containing various components such as nested relays, potentiometers, and time delay relays. Extensive lab time allows students to develop their testing techniques in precise measurements, waveform capture, and results customization. Students will also be introduced to Eclypse International’s robust Synthetic Instruments. Each Student will receive their own copy of Synthetic Instruments 1553 Data Bus Testing Program and Time Delay Relay Program part numbers 130-‍002-00003 and 130-‍002-00007. These tools valued at over $5000.00, provide students with an easy method to incorporate complex component testing in their future test programs.
Circuit Analyzer Operation and Maintenance (ECL-ETF-00012)
Eclypse Facility – 2 Day Course – Circuit Analyzer Operations & Maintenance (O & M) course instructs the user on the set up, operation, and maintenance of the Circuit Analyzer. The course is designed for the user with an existing Test Program Set (TPS) that requires periodic circuit analyzer maintenance training. A student completing this course can be expected to execute most test programs. Additional training includes the wiring Self Learn function where the student uses the circuit analyzer to create a test program of a connected wire harness.
Test program Set (TPS) Development I (ECL-ETF-00017)
Eclypse Facility – 3 Day Course – Test Program Set Development I course introduces students to the ELITE Application Suite. The student develops a test program using ELITE Self Learn and the Wire Test Generator (WTG) and validates the test program on the Unit Under Test (UUT). The course prepares students to make test programs using the ELITE development environment. Introductory programming concepts and precision measurement testing completes the course. At course completion students will have necessary core competencies to design simple Test Programs in ELITE.
PL100i/ELM (External Load Module) Programming (ECL-OOA-00003)
Out of Area – 2 Day Course – A comprehensive course on the PL100/PL100i Programmable Load Bank or External Load Module (ELM) that instructs the student on the basic operation and maintenance of the equipment. Providing the training necessary to successfully run a test program set (TPS).
