NCMS Celebrates Longest Running Technology Program

March 25, 2023

What started as a pilot project with the Commercial Technologies for Maintenance Activities (CTMA) more than 20 years ago, has now become one of the longest running technology programs in the departments history.  Beginning in 2002, Eclypse and the US Navy began investigating ways to employ commercially available test technology for use by maintainers of advanced military systems.

Through organizations like CTMA and the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS), AWTS now supports over 20 aviation platforms and has been delivered to more that 100 maintenance facilities around the world.  Eclypse International joins CTMA and NCMS in celebrating this rare milestone.  The goal of these programs is to continue adapting today’s technology to support and improve aviation maintenance in the future.
