Airmen Develop, Implement Test for F-15E

February 16, 2021

USAF airmen stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina have successfully developed and implemented test program software for the Eclypse AWTS platform for testing wiring in the F-15E. The need for a new test arose when existing test methods had become obsolete, leaving a gap in current maintenance plans.

One primary goal of the AWTS project was to train active service members to develop test procedures organically, without the need to outsource labor. Airmen and Seymour Johnson displayed this ability by working together to develop a replacement procedure using only their own knowledge and skill.

Congratulations to all the airmen for their ingenuity and hard work.
