Analyzer Operation and Maintenance
Instruction includes basic operation and maintenance of the Eclypse Analyzer and insures the training necessary to successfully run a test program set (TPS). Discussed in the course is how to select a test and how to interpret the results of testing. Course ‘tasks’ involve performing the analyzer alignment and performing the analyzer self test.
Analyzer Operation, Maintenance, & Troubleshooting
A comprehensive course on the Eclypse Analyzer that instructs the student on the basic operation and maintenance of the Eclypse Analyzer and insures the training necessary to successfully run a test program set (TPS). Discussed in the course is how to select a test and how to interpret the results of testing. Course tasks involve performing the analyzer alignment and performing the analyzer self test; running a completed Test Program Set as course time and equipment availability permits is often substituted for the assembly/disassembly.
This course is primarily offered at the Corona facility in conjunction with the Train the Trainer Course.
PL100i Programming
A comprehensive course on the PL100/PL100i Programmable Load Bank or External Load Module (ELM) that instructs the student on the basic operation and maintenance of the PL100/PL100i and ensures the training necessary to successfully run a test program set (TPS) that utilizes the PL100/PL100i. The student will perform the Verify procedure, the Load Bank equivalent of the Self Test used on the Eclypse Analyzer.
Additionally, an example set of circuit breakers are inputted into the Circuit Breaker Automated Test File Generator (CBATFG) and the students modify the generated file to complete the Test Program Set.
Introduction to ELITE Programming
A comprehensive course on writing test programs and associated files in the ELITE Test Language (ETL) using the ELITE application suite developed for the Eclypse International Analyzer series. Discussed in the course are basic ETL programming skills and the best application of the skills gained. Course tasks involve developing a test strategy, including test cable designs, for the Unit Under Test (U.U.T.) and a test program set that includes all equipment and programming required to successfully test the U.U.T.
Advanced ELITE Programming
The course further explores the ELITE Test Language (ETL), building upon the knowledge gained in the Introduction to ELITE Programming course. Discussed in the course are advance ETL programming skills, to include: component testing, result customization, scripting, and the use of Formbuilder. Extensive lab time with follow up discussion creates an environment to apply the knowledge presented in the course. The course is designed for the professional programmer and maintains an aggressive pace throughout.
ESP/ESP+ Operation
A comprehensive training course designed to show students how to operate and troubleshot using the ESP/ESP+. Discussed in the course is basic SWR theory and the skills necessary to use the ESP/ESP+ effectively. The course involves detecting and open and short in the Unit Under Test (U.U.T.).
Furthermore, a brief introduction to the Flash Utilities program is available in all ESP+ courses. The Flash Utilities program is used in Data analysis and waveform storing.
ESATS Operation and Maintenance
A comprehensive course on the Eclypse ESATS that instructs the student on the basic operation and maintenance of the ESATS and ensures the training necessary to successfully run a test program set (TPS). Discussed in the course is how to select a test and how to interpret the results of testing. Course tasks involve performing the alignment, performing the self test and assembly/disassembly.
Train the Trainer
The course teaches personnel all the aspects necessary to teach others how to use, repair, and program Eclypse equipment. Discussed in the course are Operation and Maintenance practices, Introduction to Elite Programming, Load Bank Programming, and TPS development practices. The course is designed for the manager of equipment and configuration control of Test Program Sets.
ATFG User
Focus on the user’s data entry skills and TPS generation; modification of generated code requires Introduction to ELITE Programming.
RAU User
Focus on the user’s data entry and maintenance report generation; prerequisite is Analyzer Operation and Maintenance Course.
TPS User
Focus is on the maintainer’s ability to use a TPS; prerequisite is Analyzer Operation and Maintenance, this course is often given in conjunction with the Analyzer Operation and Maintenance.
