U.S. Air Force Hosting Joint Services Wiring Action Group (JSWAG)
Warner Robins AFB, GA, March 26, 2015: Currently the Joint Services Wiring Action Group is led by the U.S. Navy NAVAIR organization with leadership at Patuxent River, MD. The 2015 JSWAG is focused on training. Many classes will be held over the week. It includes discussions and practices related to use of the DOD ATS Joint Services capability known as the Automatic Wire Test Set (AWTS). More than just a wire tester, this capability allows for testing and validation of aircraft electrical system in-situ or on-aircraft without major disassembly of the aircraft systems.
Eclypse International is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the product which consists of the AWTS circuit analyzers (3 configurations), and External Load Module (ELM) for use on Circuit Breaker Panel testing, and of course the ELITE™ Operating System Software. ELITE™ offers the government organic capability in not only use of the AWTS but to also develop test applications, retaining the intellectual property.
