1.5.2 - ESP Meter - Wave Viewer |
|
| |
What does the SR stand for on the Wave View or Download
utility? |
|
| |
|
|
| |
SR is the abbreviation of Signal Ratio. |

|
| |
What does the SR mean? |
|
| |
|
|
| |
SR is the ratio of the rms voltage on the output side of the reference
resistor to the rms voltage on the source side of the reference resistor
with corrections made to account for the measurement circuitry. Where,
A and B are scaled rms voltages on the reference resistor’s
supply side and output side, respectively,
OFFSET_B is 5600, and
where,
Re is the effective resistance (not necessarily the same as the
Z setting). |

Can the Wave viewer show feet so I can see in the waveform
where the problem is? |
|
| |
When there is a fault in a wire, the ESP meter only detects the
distance to the fault and does not detect the overall length of the
wire. As a result, there’s not enough information to make such
a display at this point in time. |
