Using the numeric buttons on the keypad, enter the length value and then press the ? (enter) button. The ESP will perform a scan and determine the cable’s velocity.

For Example: to enter a length of 27 feet and 6 inches.
With the screen displaying “ENTER LENGTH (ft.in), L=“ (while in feet/inches mode)

Press 2 button
Press 7 button
Press • button
Press 6 button
LENGTH (ft.in)
L=27.6

Press ? (enter) button

NOTE: In Feet/Inches mode the number entered after the decimal point is considered to be Inches.

After the velocity has been determined by the known length scan, the meter will display the new velocity setting on the “Ready For Test” screen.
