What length of time can the meter run before needing a recharge? |

ANSWER: This is a very good question as the life of the battery
charge depends on local usage. Optimal performance is referenced in
the Model ESP Users Guide as follows: |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Battery charge
Charge life - 40 hours 35% Duty Cycle
Charge time – Less than 3 hours
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
The Model ESP and ESP+ usage will have impact on the battery life
duty cycle. For example, when the back lit keypad and display button
“ ” is pressed (for use in dimly lit or dark areas), increased
energy is expended and battery life will be shortened. Internal testing
of these products with the back lit continually on provided an average
continual test time of approximately 11 hours. The number of scans
(tests) performed was 4,185. |
