Do I need to make up an interface to
match the wire type under test? |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Not generally. The lead set included in the
Model ESP includes a 6-foot coax cable for use when wires under test
are less than 10 feet. The supplied cable has an impedance value (estimated
at 74.6 Ohm). If the cable under test varies greatly from this value
a mismatch of impedance occurs. Please reference Failure and Error
Mode link below to view or download. |

If I know there is a problem in only
one wire what to I connect the other lead to? |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Ideally, a wire of the same type and length
that runs parrallel down the same path. |
